Course Modules

Four comprehensive modules covering all aspects of biliopancreatic endoscopy

Fundamentals and Core Knowledge

Anatomy and physiology of the hepatobiliary and pancreatic system

Pathophysiology of biliopancreatic diseases

Indications and contraindications for advanced endoscopy

Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS)

EUS anatomy and orientation

Diagnostic role of EUS in pancreatic and biliary disorders

EUS-guided fine-needle aspiration (FNA) and biopsy (FNB)

Interventional EUS (drainage procedures, cystogastrostomy, biliary and pancreatic access)

Complication recognition and management

Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP)

Patient preparation and sedation considerations

Cannulation techniques (standard and advanced)

Sphincterotomy, stone extraction, stenting (plastic and metal)

ERCP in altered anatomy (post-surgical cases)

Management of strictures, leaks, and fistulas

Prevention and management of ERCP complications (pancreatitis, perforation, bleeding)

Therapeutic Endoscopy for HPB Diseases

Management of malignant and benign biliary strictures

Endoscopic management of pancreatic cystic lesions

Drainage of pseudocysts, abscesses, and walled-off necrosis
